To help market Nebraska to entrepreneurs, business leaders and working parents, First Five Nebraska recently partnered with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development on its The Good Life is Calling website. The website invites prospective residents to consider all the amenities the good life of Nebraska has to offer, from low unemployment and cost of living to world-class education and quality of life.

First Five Nebraska created resources highlighting how Nebraska’s early childhood efforts spark long-term economic vitality and attractive quality of life in communities statewide. First Five Nebraska’s collaboration with DED is one example of our growing economic development work led by Mike Feeken, First Five Nebraska’s strategic partnerships advisor. Mike reaches statewide to connect with community leaders, business owners and economic developers to enhance early childhood programs and create opportunities for child care entrepreneurs and professionals. If you’re interested in having Mike present to your community or group on how quality child care supports business growth and community vitality, contact him at mfeeken@firstfivenebraska.org.
