Sara Brady

Dr. Sara Brady is a researcher on our policy team, pivoting into policy research after 10 years in academia and research consulting. In her previous roles, she trained countless students in rigorous quantitative methods and data analysis and advocated for the importance of evidence-based approaches in solving real-world problems, most recently at Concordia University, Nebraska, where she served as an associate professor of psychology.

Prior to joining First Five Nebraska, Sara also was a researcher for a tech start-up, CAPE Inclusion, which offers data-driven solutions and resources to assist organizations in their diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives, and the civic tech organization Hack for LA where she spearheaded efforts to develop replicable research methods at enterprise scale. She is passionate about using research to understand complex problems and advocate for under-represented groups.

Sara received a Ph.D. and M.S. in experimental psychology from Texas Christian University and a B.S. in psychology from the University of Nebraska Kearney.

Sara lives in Seward with her high-school sweetheart and husband, Adam, and their three daughters.
